Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup nuts
- Filling:
- 10 oz frozen strawberries
- 2 eggs whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 container cool whip, thawed
Preparation
Step 1
Crust:
1. Mix well (Double for 9x13 pan)
2. Brown in 400 oven for 15-20 minutes.
3. Stir; reserve 1/3 c. for topping.
4. Press remaining crumbs in 9x9 pan
Filling:
1. Beat 15-20 minutes until doubles in volume.
2. Add vanilla
3. Fold in cool whip
4. Spoon on crust; top with reserved crumbs; freeze
