Turtle Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 pkg caramels
  • 1 pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine cake mix, butter, 1/cup evaporated milk. Spread 1/2 of the batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Baake for 3 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool. Melt caramels over low heat wih 1/2 cup evaporated milk. Stir constantly. Pour on top of the cooled cake. Sprinkle on pecans and chocolate chips. Dot with the remaining batter. Bake 15 minutes in 350 degree oven. DO NOT OVERBAKE!

NOTE: These will be very gooey, rich and more like a brownie
