Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sift before measuring
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup diced mixed candied fruits
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/4 cup butter

Preparation

Step 1

sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar; stir in pecans and fruit. combine eggs, eggnog and melted butter. add egg ixture to the dry ingredients, mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened. pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.

bake at 350 for about 1 1/4 hours
