bread-applesauce nut

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup margarine, room temperature
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 large eggs whites, room temperature
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup graham flour
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 3 tbsp liquid sugar substitute
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Preparation

Step 1

cream margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy. add egg whites to creamed mixture and beat at medium speed for 1/2 minute. sift together flours, spices, baking powder, baking soda and salt until well blended. add applesauce, sweetener, and nuts along with flour mixture to creamed mixture. mix at medium speed only until the flour is moistened, do not overbeat. spread evenly in a 9 x 5 inch pan that has been greased with margarine.

bake at 375 for 45 minutes
