Ingredients

    pound pork tenderloin

  • 1

    tablespoon of honey, dissolved in a little water

  • 1

    tablespoon sugar

  • 1

    tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1

    tablespoon hoisin sauce

  • 1

    tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1/2

    teaspoon chili sauce

  • 1

    tablespoon brandy or rum

  • 1

    teaspoon sesame oil

  • 2/3

    cup boiling water

Directions

1. Cut pork into strips 7 to 8 inches long and place in a large shallow dish. 2. Combine all ingredients from sugar through sesame oil to make marinade. Pour marinade over the pork, cover and place in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. 3. Heat oven to 350°. 4. Place pork on a rack over baking pan. Pour boiling water in the bottom of the pan. 5. Roast pork for 15 min., based often with the marinade. Turn and roast the pork another 10 min. 8. Remove the pork and brush with honey. Cut pork across the grain. If you desire you can boil the marinade in pan drippings, strain and pour over pork.
