  • 2 or 3 large cans or jars of sauerkraut
  • Country style ribs, however many you need to feed your family

Preparation

Step 1

Put kraut and ribs in large pot, cover completely with water. Bring to boil on high heat, reduce heat to medium and cook partially covered until ribs are done and fall apart easy, 2 to 3 hours. Add additional water as needed while cooking to keep it above the food level. I don't add any seasonings or oils, the sauerkraut and ribs flavor each other well.
