Apple Cheese Cups

Ingredients
- Cinnamon Apples
- 4 Granny Smith yellow apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon or to taste cinnamon
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- Cheese Filling
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Crust
- 2 cans crescent rolls
- Sugar Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 3-4 tablespoons milk

Step 1
Cinnamon Apples
Over medium heat, Melt butter in a sauce pan, add apples and sauté untill soft. Remove from burner and stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.
Crust
Open crescent roll can, unroll dough and separate each triangle. Prepare a cupcake pan with non-stick spray. Place each triangle in a section trimming one end to fit. Press to shape.
Cheese Filling
Place cream cheese in a bowl and add sugar. Beat to mix. Stir in beaten egg and vanilla. Add approximately 2 tablespoons into each crescent cup.
Place apple mixture on top of cream cheese. Don't over fill. Bake in oven set at 350 for 15 minutes or untill crescent roll turns light golden brown.
Sugar Glaze
Mix powdered sugar and melted. Add milk one tablespoon at a time untill smooth and pourable. It should be around 3-4 tablespoons. Pour over apple cheese cups while still warm.
