Ingredients

  • Mix together:
  • 7 7 12 apples (approximately 12 cups of apples), peeled and sliced thin. I used Gala, but any of your favorite apples will do.
  • 2 2 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 1 1/2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1 1 1 cup butter, softened.
  • 2 all ingredients together (I use 2 knives) until mixture is crumbly. Pour over apples, covering completely.
  • 350 30 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and serve. Can be served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream

Note: I mixed everything and assembled the apple crisp the day before, refrigerated it overnight and removed from refrigerator about an hour before I baked it. I served it at room temperature. But, this can be done at the last minute and baked immediately.
