Ingredients
- Sauce mix:
- 1 pound hamburger
- 3/4 cup water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups small shell pasta
- 1 cup stewed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown meat in a large skillet; drain
2. Add water, milk and noodles
3. Add spices; bring to a boil, cover and simmer over low
heat for 12 minutes until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally
4. Add cheese the last few minutes of cooking, cover
until cheese melts
5. Turn off heat,; uncover and let stand for 5 minutes
It will thicken as it stands
