- 1 Lb. Squid parts
- Flour
- Vegetable Oil
- Kosher salt
- Fresh Lemon
- Marinara sauce, if desired

Pound squid bodies (in plastic wrap or bag) briefly with a tenderizer to break the membrane for tenderness. Heat your oil (must be 1 inch). Dredge the squid in flour and shake before putting in oil. Fry for about 4 minutes or until crisp, do not brown. Drain on paper towels and salt as desired. Squeeze lemon when serving.
