Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 4 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x5" loaf pan. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition. Stir in vanilla, banana and sour cream. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
2. Blend the banana mixture into the flour mixture; stir just to combine. Fold in walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.
