Ingredients

  • 1 Large Chicken
  • 3 lb lean pork roast
  • 3 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cans crushed tomato, 28oz
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp, lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup RedHot, more to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 5 oz Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 32 oz bag corn
  • 3 cups of chicken broth

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cook pork seasoned with salt and pepper in oven until done.

2. Cook chicken until tender in boiling water.

3. Fry up the ground beef.

4. Remove chicken from bones and keep separate from pork and beef.

5. Save juice from chicken.

6. Place ground beef and pork in broth

7. Add tomatoes, onions, worchestershire sauce, ketchup, vinegar and lemon juice.

8. Cook on low heat for about 45 minutes.

9. Add chicken, corn, hot sauce, salt and pepper.

10. Cook another 20 minutes.

11. Stirring to keep from sticking.

12. The stew will become thick.
