Peanut Blossoms

A pretty cookie that looks good on a tray

Ingredients

• 1 cup shortening
• 1 cup peanut butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 4 tablespoons milk
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon soda
• 3 1/2 cups flour
• Hershey's Kisses

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Cream butters and sugars with mixer until well
blended

3. Add eggs, milk and vanilla, mixing well with mixer

4. Spoon flour into cup, level off with a knife

5. Stir in flour and salt by hand, mix well

6. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased baking pans

7. Flatten cookies with a fork, pressing down in
opposite directions

8. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes

9. Press a Hershey's Kiss in the center of each cookie while still warm
