Buttered Stewed Potatoes
So simple and easy, but get gobbled up in a hurry!
- Enough potatoes for those you want to feed (For four people, I use 6-8 med sized)
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
Fill a pot 1/2 - 3/4 full with water and add a teaspoon of salt. Put on to boil. Peel potatoes and cut into thick slices. Add to water. Bring to a boil and cook until fork tender. Drain potatoes in a colander. Place back into pot and add butter and salt. Stir and allow butter to melt.
