Double Chocolate Coconut Cookies

A creation of mine based on a Pillbury cookie recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 3/4 cups chopped walnuts
  • 1 3/4 cups coconut
  • 2 cups white chocolate chunks

Preparation

Step 1

1. heat oven to 350 degrees

2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth

3. Add vanilla and eggs, one at a time

4. Sift dry ingredients; mix into butter mixture until
well combined

5. Stir in nuts, coconut and chocolate

6. Using a 1 1/2 inch ice cream scoop, drop cookies on
sheet pan

7. Flatten slightly

8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set

9. Leave on pans for 2 minutes

10.Move to wire racks to cool thoroughly
