Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons Domino Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 (16 oz) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups milk
  • 6 large eggs, lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 3 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a medium skillet, melt butter over median heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, for 6-8 minutes or until tender. Stir in flour, sugar and salt. Cook for 2 minutes.

In a large bowl, place onion mixture, corn and cheese. Add milk and eggs, stirring to combine. Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.

Bake for 1 hour or until center of pudding is set. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
