No knead bread basics

General percentages to make any no knead bread you'd like.

Ingredients

  • To make 8 loaves of bread:
  • 6 cups of lukewarm water
  • 3 Tbs salt
  • 3 Tbs yeast
  • 13 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

This is a basic formula. Mix all the ingredients together, it is best to use a stand mixer to combine. If you do it with a wooden spoon you may need to use your hands to work in the last few cups of flour.
Put the dough into a large container (I use a dough rising bucket) and let it sit at room temp until the dough has at least doubled in size.
Put the dough in the covered container (not an airtight cover, it will explode!) in the frig.
Do not make bread for at least 24 hours.
