Rice crispy bars with peanut butter and chocolate

    cups mini marshmallows

  • cup creamy peanut butter

  • ½

    tsp salt

  • 6

    cups rice crispy cereal

  • Nonstick spray

  • 12

    oz semisweet chocolate chips, melted

  • ¼

    cup roasted salted peanuts, chopped


Butter an 8 inch square baking dish. In a large pot, combine marshmallows, peanut butter, butter and salt. Cook over medium, stirring, until melted, 4 minutes. Add cereal to pot and stir to combine. With a wooden spoon coated in cooking spray, priers half the cereal mix I to dish. Spread half the melted chocolate on top, and repeat with rest of cereal mix and chocolate. Sprinkle top with peanuts. Let cool completely before cutting and serving.
