Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
- 1/2 lb bulk Italian pork sausage
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 container (15 oz) refrigerated marinara sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning, undrained
- 1 package (9 oz) refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese or pizza cheese blend (4 oz)

Step 1
1 In 10-inch skillet, break beef and sausage into large pieces. Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
2 Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker, mix meat mixture, mushrooms, marinara sauce and tomatoes.
3 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 7 to 8 hours.
4 About 15 minutes before serving, add tortellini to slow cooker; stir gently to mix. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover; cook about 15 minutes longer or until tortellini are tender.
If you don't have a can of the diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning, substitute a can of plain diced tomatoes and 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
