Ingredients

  • 1 envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup melted margarine
  • 1 teaspoon thyme leaves (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram leaves (optional)
  • 1/4 teasp pepper
  • 2 lbs. All purpose potatoes, cut into quarters

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In shallow baking or roasting pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients except potatoes. Add potatoes and turn to coat thoroughly. Bake, stirring potatoes occasionally, for 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Garnish, if desired with chopped parsley.
