Cake Balls

Ingredients

• 1 cake mix
• 1 tub ready-to-use frosting
• 1 lb. candy coating

Preparation

Step 1

Bake cake according to package directions. Allow to cool some, but remove from pan and crumble into mixing bowl while still warm. Add frosting and stir until well-blended. Using melon baller or small scoop, form cake mixture into bite-sized balls, dip in candy coating, and store in the refrigerator.

You can use any flavor cake mix and frosting you choose, then use either white or milk chocolate.

vanilla/cream cheese/white chocolate
brownie/chocolate buttercream/milk chocolate
chocolate (add cinnamon)/chocolate/dark chocolate - dust with cinnamon
milk chocolate (add coconut)/caramel/milk chocolate
vanilla (add toffee bits)/buttercream/milk chocolate
strawberry/vanilla/milk chocolate
italian cream (add coconut)/cream cheese/white chocolate
spice (add pumpkin)/cream cheese/white chocolate
