Egg and Cheese Dishes - SAUSAGE CHEESE BAKE

Ingredients

• Mix together:
• 1 – 12 oz package Jimmy Dean Mild Sausage, browned lightly in skillet; mash into small pieces. Drain well.
• 1 – 8oz package crescent rolls
• 4 eggs
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1 – 8 oz package shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
• 1/2 teasp oregano leaves
• 1/8 teasp pepper
• 2 tablespoons chopped bell green pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook sausage, drain. Lightly grease 9x13 baking dish and lay crescent rolls across bottom and up the sides. Press edges together. Sprinkle cooked sausage over dough crust. Pour the egg mixture over sausage. Bake 18-20 minutes until lightly browned. Cut into squares.

Serve with grits and fruit. Delicious and can be rewarmed if you have leftovers.
