Chocolate Goober Bars

Another recipe from an old card without a source.

Ingredients

• 1 package Devil's Food cake mix
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/3 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup butter, softened
• 1/3 cup milk
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 325.

2. Grease the bottom of a 9x13 pan.

3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, sugar, peanut
butter and butter at low speed until crumbly.

4. Add milk and egg; stir until blended.

5. Spread in pan; sprinkle with peanuts and press into
batter.

6. Bake for 25-35 minutes or till set.

7. Cool completely
