BLUEBERRY CREAM CHEESE ALMOND CAKE

Ingredients

  • 1 box (18.25 oz size) yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • Powdered sugar for decorating

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350F.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, milk, oil sugar & almond extract. Beat on low speed to blend. Add cream cheese & beat on medium for 2 mins. In small bowl, toss blueberries with flour to coat. Gently stir into batter.

Pour batter into greased & floured 12 cup capacity Bundt cake pan & bake for 50 to 55 mins or until cake testerd comes out clean. Cool in pan for 10 mins, then turn out onto serving platter. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
