Fruit Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • each:
  • onions
  • peeled pears
  • peeled peaches
  • 15 ripe tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 hot red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 1/2 c sugar
  • 2 c vinegar
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t ginger
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/8 ground red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Chop all fruits and veggies. Add vinegar and seasonings and boil in open pan for about 2 hours. Put in jars (should be able to separate fruiuts, but they should be soft.

To skin tomatoes and peaches: Dip in very hot water for a few mins and pierce with sharp knife. The skin will slip off.
