Ingredients
- For the nut filling:
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 1 lb margarine
- 4 cups flour
- 2 lbs ground nuts
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 can milnot
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon rind
- 1 tbsp orange rind
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together cream cheese and margarine. Add flour, mixing dough in a kneading manner. Chill dough overnight.
Mix nut filling ingredienst together and set aside.
Cut into 10 pieces. Roll each separately in a flour and sugar mix (use lavishly).
Cut into small squares. Place nut filling in centers. Roll into any shape. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until reddish in color.
