Crab Cakes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. fresh crab
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, diced
  • Your favorite nsa seasoings (Mrs. Dash)
  • 1/4 cup oatmeal, uncooked and ground to flour in a blender

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a medium mixing bowl, mix crab, egg white, oatmeal four (reserve a little for next step), onions, peppers and seasonings.
2. Form a patty about the size of your palm (recipe can make two small patties)
3. Flour the patty on both sides and place in a pre-heated non-stick skillet (spray with cooking spray right before putting in your cake. The cooking spray helps it brown). Brown patty on both sides over low to medium heat.
