Whole Wheat Quick Bread Katies school recipe

Not sure if all the kids made this bread or not. Katie's was the only recipe I found

Ingredients
- Beat together:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- Add:
- 1/2 cup molasses or honey
- 1 tablespoon soft butter
- Sift together:
- 1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2/3 cup white flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Add dry ingredients, alternating with 1 cup buttermilk
and mix well.
3. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and let stand
for 15 minutes.
4. Bake for 45 minutes.
5. Cool completely before slicing.
