BANANA SPLIT CAKE

Ingredients

  • CRUST:
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 lb. melted butter
  • 1 Tbs sugar
  • FILLING:
  • 1 lb. confectioner's sugar
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine(not melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • TOPPING:
  • 3 bananas
  • 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple, drained.
  • 12 oz. bowl of Cool Whip topping
  • 1/2 cup crushed peanuts or pecans

Preparation

Step 1

CRUST:
Mix crushed graham crackers with melted butter and sugar, then spread into 9"X13" pan. Do not bake (or use 2 prepared graham cracker or butter cookie crusts.
Set aside.

FILLING:
Beat together confectioner's sugar, butter or margarine(not melted), eggs, & cream cheese for 4 - 5 minutes with mixer.

TOPPING:
Slice bananas onto top of cream mixture. On top of bananas, spread crushed pineapple. On top of pineapple, spread the Cool Whip topping. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top of Cool Whip,if desired.

Refrigerate overnight for best results. Slice into 12-15 pieces.
