Ingredients

  • Pound Cake:

  • 3

    C Sugar

  • 3

    C Flour

  • 5

    Eggs

  • 3/4

    Lb Butter

  • 1/2

    C Amaretto

  • 1/2

    C half & half

  • 1

    tsp Vanilla

  • Glaze:

  • 1/4

    C + 2 Tbsp Butter

  • 3/4

    C Sugar

  • 1/4

    C. Amaretto

  • 2

    Tbsp water

Directions

Cake: Bring butter & eggs to room temperature. Grease bund pan and preheat over to 350. Cream butter. Gradually add sugar and beat until incorporated. Add eggs on at a time. Mix Amaretto and Cream. Alternate adding cream mixture and flour, ending with flour, until mixed well. Stir ion vanilla. Pout into well greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Glaze: Min ingredients in sauce pan on medium heat and bring to boil. Boil uncovered for 3 min or until sugar is dissolved. Brush over warm cake.
