French Style Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients
- 2 (1 lb.) cans French style green beans
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1.4 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
- 1 tbsp. melted butter

Preparation
Step 1
Drain green beans. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and add flour, salt, pepper, sugar, sour cream and onion. Fold the beans into above mixture. Spread in a 2-quart buttered casserole. Sprinkle top with cheese and finally top with buttered crushed corn flakes. Bake in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
