Caramel French Toast
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 12 slices white bread
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Grease a 13x9 baking dish.
Combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring continually, until brown sugar is dissolved and mixture is blended, about 1-2 minutes.
Spread the caramel mixture over the bottom of prepared baking dish. Arrange 6 bread slices on top of caramel mixture.
Mix the sugar and cinnamon in small bowl. Sprinkle over the bread in baking dish. Layer the remaining bread on top of the sugar mixture.
Combine eggs, milk, vanilla extract and salt in medium bowl and mix well. Pour over layers in baking dish. Chill, covered, for 8 hours or longer.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake until set, about 40 minutes. Serve immediately.
