Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb of boneless, skineless chicken
  • 3 tablspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup bell pepper
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas

Preparation

Step 1

cut chicken into cubes, heat the oil and add the chicken and cook. add the onion, pepper, celery carrots, garlic, salt and ground pepper and cook until soft. add the flour and cook for 2 minutes. add the broth and the milk, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to med-low and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Add the peas and stir well, simmer for 15 minutes.
