  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups of buttermilk or 2 1/4 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt in a large bowl. In a medium bowl whisk the eggs and buttermilk together. Add mixture to dry ingredients. along with the melted butter, whisk lightly. let batter rest for 15 minutes. Cook
