Ingredients

  • Makes 2 pies.
  • 4 eggs; 1 cup sugar; 4 teaspoon flour; 2 cups milk; 1/2 stick margarine and 1 teaspoon vanilla. (Hold out 3 egg whites

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all together. Cook on top of stove till thick, stirring constantly (add coconut). Pour into deep pie shell and bake till pie crust begins to brown (cook on 325-350 oven). Remove and top with beaten whites. Bake till light brown. Sprinkle top with coconut before baking meringue.
