Angel Hair Pasta and Shrimp

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 12 oz. medium sized shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Half of a 16 oz. package of angel hair pasta
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup fresh or frozen peas, thawed
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Boil pasta in a large saucepan 5-8 minutes, until tender. In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, heat butter and oil; add shrimp and garlic; cook about 6 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove shrimp to bowl; keep warm.
Meanwhile, add to skillet the cream, wine, peas, parsley, 1/4 cup parmesan, basil, and red pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low, simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Drain pasta; add to mixture in skillet along with shrimp; heat through. Sprinkly with additional parmesan cheese.
