Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temp)
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg (room temp)
- 2 tbsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (mix white and dark)
- You can also add substitute chocolate with raisins, chopped cranberries (dried),
- chopped apricots (dried), or whatever you prefer.
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla
Sift in other dry ingredients. Mix into butter mixture
Bake 10 mins at 350F.
They will come out slightly undone.
Let cool and they will be chewy.
