Cake Mix Doctor Harvey Wallbanger Cake

Based on the drink created when a surfer named Harvey drank several of these concoctions after losing a tournament. He accidentally banged his head on the wall leaving the bar. Hence "Harvey Wallbanger"

Ingredients
- Glaze:
- Vegetable spray for the pan
- Flour to dust the pan
- 1 (18.25 oz) plain orange cake mix
- 1 (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup Galliano liquor or anisette
- 2 tablespoons vodka
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 tablespoon Galliano liqueur
- 1 teaspoon vodka
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Lightly spray and dust with flour a 12-cup bundt
pan; shake out excess flour.
3. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, pudding mix,
eggs, oil, orange juice, Galliano and vodka, blending
on low speed with an electric mixer for 1 minute.
4. Scrape the sides of the bowl.
5. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat for 2
minutes more.
6.The batter should be thick and smooth.
7. Pour into pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
8. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the cake is golden
brown and springs back when lightly pressed with
your finger.
9. Cool on a wire rack for 20 min.
10.Run a long knife along the edge of the cake and
invert on a serving plate.
11.Poke holes in the top of the cake with a wooden
skewer.
Glaze:
1. Mix in a small bowl until smooth.
2. Spoon over warm cake.
3. Cool completely before serving.
