Ingredients

  • 1 pastry shell for a 9” pie crust
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (Hershey’s Cocoa)
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Fit pastry to pie pan (preheat oven to 325 degrees)
Beat together the butter, eggs, vanilla, sugar in a
medium-sized bowl. Add flour, cocoa until just
mixed.

Spoon into pie shell.

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until set (doesn’t
Move when given a slight jiggle). Allow to cool to
room temperature. Serve with whipped topping or
a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
