Fudge Rum Balls

Traditionally a holiday treat, but why wait? You can create these rich, flavorful Fudge Rum Balls all year long using Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Fudge Cake Mix.

Ingredients
- 1 package Duncan Hines moist deluxe butter recipe fudge cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans or walunts
- 1 tablespoon rum extract or rum
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan
3. Prepare, bake and cool cake as directed on box
4. Crumble cooled cake into a large bowl. Stir with a fork until crumbs are fine and uniform in size.
5. Add 1 cup nuts, rum, powdered sugar and cocoa.
6. Stir till well blended.
7. Shape heaping tablespoonfuls into balls
8. Roll in nuts, pressing firmly to adhere to nuts
