Ingredients

  • 1 10 1/2 oz. can French Onion Soup
  • 1 can cold water
  • 1 10 1/2 oz. can beef broth
  • 1/2 tsp. white sugar
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 8 slices of cheese like Swiss or Provolone, slices for sandwiches

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a pot! Bring mixture to a boil. Strain mixture or use as is. We liked the onion bits. Slice beef thinly. Add a serving of beef to a skillet and add some broth. Heat. Add cheese slices at this point if you are using cheese.

Slice open your roll and pile with hot beef slices, cheese and broth. Bring extra broth to table in bowl for dipping.
