  • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. squash
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 slices of bread, soaked in milk
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese (mild or sharp)



Step 1

Cook squash until tender; drain. Mash with

Egg, bread and onion. Mix well. Pour half

With remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees
For 30 minutes.
