- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2/3 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 egg beaten
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil

Step 1
Steam hotdogs before coating.
Mix dry ingredients well. Add beaten egg and other liquids. Beat batter until smooth. Dip weiners in batter and drop into deep fat (365) to fry in skillet until golden brown. (pour batter into tall glass. Cut weiners in 1/2, insert 2 toothpicks to hold up)
