Chocolate Sheet Cake

Ingredients

• Bring to a boil, pour over dry mixture in bowl, mix well:
• 2 cup flour
• 2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp salt
• MIX
• 1 stick margarine
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 3 TBSP cocoa
• Mix well and add to above mixture.
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp soda
• 1/2 cup buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in a greased and floured cookie sheet and bake 350 for 20 minutes.

Start making icing 10 minutes before cake is done.

Melt, but do not bring to a boil:
1 stick margarine
3 TBSP cocoa

Take off heat and add: Stir well and ice cake while HOT
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
6 TBSP milk
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
