Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• Nut Mixture:
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 2 tsp. cinnamon
• Cake:
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

Mix above ingredients. Spread half of batter in cake pan, top with a sliced apple, on top of this add half of nut mixture, then the remaining batter and rest of nut mixture. Grease a 9 inch angel food cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
