Peanut Butter Krispy Treats

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 7 – 9 c. Rice Krispies
  • chocolate or butterscotch chips (or both)

Preparation

Step 1

Boil the sugar and Karo together until the sugar is dissolved, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add the peanut butter and stir until blended. Stir in the Rice Krispies. Put in a butter 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle the top with chips and place in a warm oven for a couple of minutes until the chips are soft. Spread evenly and cool.
