    C. chopped celery

    C. chopped onion

    boiled eggs, chopped

  • 3

    pkgs. cornbread mix

  • 10

    slices bread, dried

  • 2

    tsp. poultry seasoning

  • 2

    tsp. sage

  • 3-4

    cans chicken broth

  • salt and pepper to taste


Prepare cornbread several days ahead, crumble and let dry. Lay out bread several days ahead, let dry and cut into crumbs. Saute celery and onion in one stick butter. Add to crumbled bread and cornbread. Add remaining ingredients. Adjust seasonings to taste. Add turkey drippings if available. Dressing should be moist enough to be "drippy" but not runny. Bake at 375 about 45 minutes, or until set.
