Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions (optional)
  • 3 T flour
  • 1 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/2 cups hot milk (do not boil)
  • Cheese of your choice (optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Oven to 350 degrees....Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.

Place a layer of potatoes in dish, sprinkle with 1 T onion,
1T flour, 1/4 t salt, pepper, 1 T butter and Cheese of your choice if desired. Repeat layers. After last layer, pour in hot milk

Bake covered 30 minutes, remove cover and bake until potatoes are done and brown.
