Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery or celery salt/seed
- 1 cup pealed & cubed potato
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp kitchen bouquet sauce
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp basil
- 6 tomatoes
Details
Cooking time 30mins
Preparation
Step 1
Cook meat until brown then drain
Cook onion with meat after browned for 5 minutes
Stir in remaining ingredients except tomato
Heat to boil
Reduce heat then cover & simmer for 20 mins
Add tomato then cover & simmer for 10 mins
1 28 oz can of tomatoes with liquid can substitute for tomatoes
Instead of potatoes add cooked pasta
