Dumplings for Beef Stew**

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbl. shortening
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Cut shortening into flour, baking powder, and salt with pastry blender until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in milk. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto hot beef stew.
